Ritul Satish

PhD Student UT Austin

I'm a PhD student in Computer Science at UT Austin, working with Venkat Arun and Neeraja J. Yadwadkar. I work at the intersection of LLM agents, reasoning, and ML systems — making long-horizon, tool-using agents more robust, reliable, and efficient. I study agent reasoning and planning, memory and context management, inference-time behavior, and the systems support needed to run agents at scale.

Before my PhD, I did a master's in Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit, working on cloud performance with the AtLarge group (Alexandru Iosup) and at INESC-ID Lisbon (Rodrigo Rodrigues). Earlier, I worked on computer security with Debayan Gupta at Ashoka University.
